Year 5 planned, organised and hosted a fabulous evening for their parents. They spent all day preparing the menu and the hall for a 5pm start. Their parents were treated to a three course meal served from decorated tables. There was even a guitarist to provide live music. Well done to all involved - the teachers, volunteers and, especially, the children - you were all amazing! Parents were asked to choose their starter from salmon fishcakes or cauliflower cheese soup, their mains from chicken curry and rice or vegetable lasagne and salad and then could choose from the dessert table laden with sticky toffee pudding, cheesecake, apple pie, Victoria sponge and lemon tart. If that wasn't enough there was tea or coffee and shortbread to fill any remaining space!
