St. Michael’s C.E. Primary School is a one form entry Church of England school in Dalston, Cumbria.

We pride ourselves on being a happy school where pupils enjoy learning. Our experienced staff provide a broad curriculum and we have a clear focus across the school on Literacy, Numeracy, Science and ICT.

We are proud of our close relationship with the church and value our global links; these two areas are key drivers of our wider curriculum. Pupils also have opportunities to participate in a range of sporting and musical experiences. We employ dedicated music and P.E. specialist teachers.

Behaviour across the school is excellent, pupils are expected to respect each other and value each and every member of our school community.

As well as having a school 'Mission Statement', we also ask all families to sign our 'Home School Agreement' which details the relationships between the school and those who attend.

Our website it is regularly updated and should provide all the information you require about life at St Michael’s C of E Primary School.

If you require any further information or would like a tour of the school please email us via
