National Poetry Day - October 2023
Thursday 5 October was National Poetry Day, and the focus for 2023 was refuge. As well as meaning a place of safety, taking refuge can also mean to take enjoyment from an activity and we spent the day enjoying and sharing poems with one another.
Many of the staff shared their favourite poems, and the children also wrote and shared their own poems. Below you can listen to two of the poems written by our Year 2 pupils.
