September 2021

I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to St. Michael’s Church of England Primary School.  We are a happy, lively school with a nurturing and caring ethos and a strong, dedicated staff team. St. Michael’s boasts strong connections with our local church and wider community. The five Christian values of kindness, respect, forgiveness, challenge and perseverance underpin all that we do in our approach to teaching and learning.

Here at St. Michael’s our children are at the heart and centre of all we do – to quote a famous song: ‘I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way’.  We want to nurture, inspire and challenge all of our pupils so that they may grow to be the best that they can be spiritually, emotionally, physically and academically.  Educating the whole child is important to us so that every child grows in confidence and ability; to equip them with the necessary skills to take an active role in today’s modern, diverse society.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch to make an appointment to view our school or ask any questions you may have.  I look forward to working with you and your child and developing a strong home/school bond.
