St. Michael's is a very musical and very sporty school and these photos prove it! A group of enthusiasts from the Running Club took part in Carlisle's first 'Colour Run' during which they were drenched in paint each time they ran a kilometre - up to 5 times...The event took place at the Racecourse and raised funds for the Eden Valley Hospice - so thank you (and your brave parents) for taking part. 

 

 

On a different note, Mrs Bedford and the Songbirds sang at a special celebration assembly last Friday. The choir, made up of pupils from the juniors and some of their mothers, impressed with their lovely voices and very moving renditions of popular songs such as 'Rule the World'. It really was a treat. Thank you to Rosa's mum for playing the piano so beautifully too.
