It's amazing how many people volunteer to spend their own time helping at St. Michael's. We are really lucky in that people are happy to come in and do all sorts of things to assist. Recognising this, and wanting to say 'thank you', Mr Marsh invited our volunteers to a lovely lunch followed by a performance from the school choir. Here are some pictures of the event. If you were wondering what kind of things people do .... we have people who listen to children read, help out with football, make breakfasts in SATs week, man the desk at the Book Fair, keep the barbecue going at Summer Fair, encourage the runners at running club, ensure the orienteerers are organised, help with maths, run a Magic Club - and that list is not exhaustive! Thanks too to Mrs Mattinson for training the choir to sing so beautifully and to Sara and Caroline in the kitchen who provided such a lovely spread.
