DRIVING & PARKING AROUND SCHOOL
Once again I am writing to ask parents for more considerate behaviour when dropping off and picking up their children. While the majority of people do take care to park safely, there is still a minority who do not. We have had several instances lately of cars mounting the pavement near the wooden gate on the infant yard or pulling up by the school crossing point. Both of these actions are very dangerous and could lead to accidents. Parking on Ninerigg is also causing concern.
The police have been notified and will be monitoring the school over the coming days. They are also hoping to arrange for traffic wardens to patrol the area.
Can I please urge everyone to ensure that they drive and park carefully without inconveniencing others, and with safety as their priority?
