... and in an assembly today Miss Sealby was absolutely delighted to announce that the children of St. Michael's have raised a massive £1,595.56 for the Firefighters' Charity. That is just from the children of this school; Miss Sealby and her partner also raised more money through their family and friends. So a massive thank you to all those walkers who counted their steps, found sponsors and then collected the money - it was a brilliant effort all round. The three children who raised the most money (over £250 between the three of them!) were the lucky recipients of genuine American merchandise all the way from New York - and they were presented with their prizes by a very pleased Miss Sealby. Thanks again to ALL who got involved; your efforts were very much appreciated. (Unfortunately one prize winner is currently sick - but he will soon receive his goodie bag).
