On 7 December 2017, school had a SIAMS (Statutory Inspection for Anglican and Methodist Schools) Inspection carried out by Ann Aspden on behalf of the Diocese of Carlisle.  It was a fantastic day and the inspector was very impressed with our distinctive Christian character, the behaviour of our children and the way in which our school values are promoted and celebrated. The school was judged under the new, more rigorous framework, currently used to grade schools. We were extremely pleased to be given a ‘Good’ overall grade. Certain areas, such as Collective Worship, were graded ‘Outstanding’ and the report was very positive about many of our recent developments such as our Collective Worship team and the way Collective Worship is evaluated within school. The report is available to view here. Thank you to all the pupils, staff, governors and parents involved in the inspection for your valuable contributions.
