Year 4 have been working very hard over the last few weeks for the 'Bright Stars' enterprise scheme. They were given £50 and were challenged to raise money for charity. We were very lucky to be partnered by David Allen Accountants who not only offered their expertise but also let the management team use their Board Room for their meetings. The activities included making and selling slime, holding fitness classes for parents and hosting a Winter Fair - all themed around the Winter Olymoics. Mrs Johnston was delighted to receive the call saying that St. Michael's had won the prize for best example of 'Teamwork and Leadership' prize - £500 for the school.All money raised (and there is over £300 so far) will go to the Jigsaw charity. If you click here, you can read the full story - scroll down to the bottom and click on the St. Michael's logo.
