Luckily for us, they very kindly offered to bring in Lucy and Inky to see us. Inky is a rescue donkey from a zoo. The infant children were able to stroke the donkeys and give them a cuddle. They also learned about the cross on the donkey's back - a symbol which represents the amazing journey when a donkey carried Mary to Bethlehem and also serves as a reminder that Jesus died on the cross for everyone.
